Tiree is a small Grade II listed fisherman's cottage, in an envious location, in a quiet street, minutes away from the beach, harbour, pier, restaurants and shops. Like many traditional Looe cottages, the third floor bedroom is accessed through the master bedroom. Every effort has been made to make this self-catering cottage a comfortable and clean home away from home.
The house is rumoured to be 16th century, it has some lovely character features, exposed beams , a very old back door which has carved initials on it , listed sash windows.
The ground floor has a window seat which looks out onto the quiet narrow street, lit at night by an old fashioned street lamp.
The lounge is tiled with a leather sofa, window seat, smart tv, high speed Wifi, children's toy box, local guides and information, a small dining table with seating for 4.
The lounge leads through to a small kitchen it has a electric hob & oven, microwave, under cupboard fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, steam steriliser for baby bottles, a washer/dryer we keep a small amount of detergent and softener. All tableware and children's plastic tableware has just been refreshed.
The first flight of stairs leads to the double bedroom, with old sash windows, exposed beams, there is a bedside cabinet and a large double wardrobe.
The door in the bedroom leads to the bathroom and second set of stairs.
The bathroom is spacious and has a bath and Mira electric shower.
The top bedroom has two single beds, there is a bedside cabinet a chest of drawers, TV and DVD player, the room has exposed beams, lovely old floorboards and a old sash window with locked window retainers - keys supplied.
Please note the second bedroom is accessed through the first bedroom.
The whole cottage is centrally heated, so you will be nice and warm on cooler evenings, and is a very cosy small traditional fisherman's cottage.
The cottage has a iron, ironing board, hair dryer, a travel cot for little ones (bedding not supplied approx size 60cm x120cm), we ensure there is sufficient cleaning supplies for your stay.
We have recently added stair gates to each stairway to ensure the safety of little ones.
We do supply a welcome basket to get you started, includes tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, milk, toilet roll and hand soap.
